India Kumbh Mela in Haridwar
Hindu devotees take dip in the holy Ganges River during Kumbh Mela in Haridwar, northern India on January 2010. Hindus believe that bathing in the Ganges during the festival, the largest Hindu gathering in the world, cleanses them of sin.
